Are you looking for a creative way to show your mom you care this Mother’s Day? Skip the gift card and sign her (and yourself) up for the Mother’s Day Cake and Sip. On Friday, May 6th, the owner and namesake of Cakes by Christa is taking over the gallery at the Church of the Holy City for an evening of mother-child fun!

The class begins at 7:30 p.m. when you should arrive ready to unleash your inner cake artist. Christa will not only supply a cake-decorating kit for each participant but also all of the instructions you need to create a beautiful bouquet of buttercream (that’s edible) over the course of the evening. What’s more, glasses of wine will be flowing all evening long! Your ticket includes two complimentary glasses. However, feel free to bring younger participants to join in the cake-decorating fun, as well. Tickets are $75 per individual or $110 for two attendees. You can also DIY a baking project at home with a kit from Cakes by Christa if you prefer not to attend in person.
